CELEBS I"VE MET

I met Nancy Dussaut in Bloomingdales (NYC) right around the time this episode was on the air. She was so lovely and gracious. After she left, this woman walked up to me and asked me if she was really pregnant. To which I responded, "Don't be ridiculous... Her character on the show was pregnant, not her!"

I met Patrick Cassidy when he was 20 years old and starring on Broadway in "The Pirates of Penzance" as young Frederic. I was still in high school at the time. I was walking along 45th Street and decided to go into the backstage entrance of the Minskoff Theatre. Right before the elevator door closed, Patrick walked in with another cast member. I asked for their autographs. Unfortunately, I don't have that book with all the autographs anymore.

I met John Waters in 1991 when he was doing a book tour for his book "Shock Value: A Tasteful Book About Bad Taste". I asked him if he were a fruit or vegetable, what would he be and why? Without missing a beat he said, "I'd be a celery 'cause Jackie Kennedy would eat me everyday."

I met Dianne Brill at Borders (Philadelphia) while she was doing her book promo. She is truly a giving and fun goddess. Below is my signed copy of her book - A must read!

I met James Wilby a couple of years after he had made "Maurice". I was working in Uncle Charlie's (Greenwich Ave., NYC) at the time. It was a weeknight and he had come in with someone. No big fuss, just told him how much I enjoyed his work in the film.
