Die! Die! My Darling! trailer - Tallulah Bankhead

This is Tallulah at her campiest! She wore no make-up, her hair was dyed gray and there were a lot of unflattering close-ups. Before the film was released, it was shown to Tallulah and some of her friends. After her first scene, she stood up and told everyone, "Darlings, I must appologize for looking older than God's wet nurse!" She had also said that the reason she did the film was because she needed the money. This, of course was not true. In fact, when Tallulah became ill during the filming she put up her own money for the film to guarantee that she wouldn't be replaced.
